Conclusion - Success

Synopsis  There are different perspectives used to determine success for a leader, a business, or anything for that matter. It is difficult to separate a leader’s accomplishments from the accomplishments of the company or the product. There may be an “I” in win but Michael Jordan would not have won many games without the rest of the team. Perspectives have a great influence on the criteria for declaring success. There are internal perspectives that compare scores only known to insiders. There are external criteria for success that range from subjective measurements and opinions to statistical and comparative measurements. There are temporary successes that are retracted over time and there are failures that are redefined as successes with the perspective of history.
